Toddler found alone in Elkhart, Indiana

ELKHART, Ind. (WLS) -- A toddler was found early Tuesday morning wandering by herself northeast Indiana.

The young girl, who is between 2 and a half and 3 years old, was found just after 5:45 a.m. in the 2500-block of Toledo Road in Elkhart, Ind., which is east of South Bend, Ind.

Elkhart police posted a photo of her on the department's Facebook page and asked the public to help find out who she is and locate her parents. They were working with the Department of Child Services.

Around 10:10 a.m., police said the child had been reunited with family.
