CHICAGO (WLS) -- A toddler found in a Stony Island parking lot has been identified and his guardian is with him at the hospital, police say. The Department of Child and Family Services is investigating.

The boy was found wandering the lot in the 2200-block of East 95th Street, wearing a blue and white short sleeve t-shirt and a diaper.

Security guard Deandre Moore says he saw the toddler Friday wandering around the same lot, and located his grandfather. Then Saturday Moore says he saw the child alone again wearing the same clothes with no shoes or socks and a dirty diaper.

"And I came to my window and I saw the baby in the parking lot again. Caught chills, bumps soon as I saw that. I came back outside, I said, 'Oh my God, the baby's back outside, you guys. I got to go outside and get this child.' They said, what, again?" Moore says.

Moore called authorities and they located the child's guardian. The boy was examined at Trinity Hospital and is now in DCFS custody.
