NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- The trial of a Naperville man charged with killing a teacher at a bar in 2012 begins Monday.

Prosecutors say Daniel Olaska stabbed and killed Shaun Wild, a 24-year-old elementary school teacher, at Frankie's Blueroom in Naperville.

They say Wild was trying to break up a fight between Olaska and a friend when he was killed. Two others were hurt.

Olaska's attorney says his client was acting in self-defense.
