DES PLAINES, Ill. (WLS) -- Two brothers are among nearly two dozen people charged today in a federal drug bust.
Agents raided homes in Des Plaines Wednesday morning as part of the investigation.
Luis Cruz and Carlos Cruz-Carrera allegedly used homes in Des Plaines and various places in Chicago to store and package cocaine and heroin.
The arrests come after nearly three years of investigation.
If convicted the brothers, alone, could face a maximum of life in prison.
