UTAH COUNTY, Utah (WLS) -- A Utah couple recently welcomed a new baby girl to the family, but the delivery was not conventional.
Baby Anne Allred was born in the car on the side of the interstate in Utah County in Utah.
Mom went into labor on last Friday.
Mom and dad were just six miles away from the hospital and they knew they weren't going to make it.
"Once she took off her seat belt and said, 'Oh my God I need to push,' I knew something was different this time," said the father.
Mom's previous labors took about eight hours each. This one took less than 90 minutes.
The baby girl weighed 8 point 4 pounds.
