Vigil held for boy shot in Woodlawn

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Family and friends mourned Friday a 16-year-old boy who was fatally shot in the Woodlawn neighborhood.

The vigil was held in the 61-hundred block of South Evans where Demarcus Williams was found dead Thursday afternoon.

He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Chicago police have a person of interest in custody.
