MCCOOK, Ill. (WLS) -- Dozens of west suburban volleyball players cut their hair Sunday to help cancer patients.

The female athletes donated their locks at a fundraiser in west suburban McCook.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, who is a former volleyball player, was also there.

Sunday's event supports the H-Foundation and the Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
