3 firefighters injured in Wheaton house fire started by lightning

WHEATON, Ill. (WLS) -- Lightning struck a house in unincorporated Wheaton Wednesday night, causing the house to catch fire.

Three firefighters were injured battling the fire, including the son of the fire chief. It was possibly the result of an electric shock.

Four people were inside the home at the time of the lightning strike. None of them were injured.
