FERGUSON, Missouri (WLS) -- Relatives of a young mother murdered in Missouri believe she met her killer on Facebook.
Sha-Rae Bradford, 25, was found dead in her apartment in Ferguson on Saturday. Family members say she was lying on her bed in a pool of blood. Her cause of death is unknown.
They want police to find a man Bradford met on Facebook. Family members describe him as mentally ill with a long criminal record of violent crimes against women.
"He had this already planned, for him to come in here and do what he did. She didn't bother nobody, she just wanted life, the best life possible for her and her daughter, that's what she was reaching for," Yolanda Seay said.
Bradford, who wanted to become a nurse, was the mother of a 6-year-old girl. Relatives said they are grateful the child was not home when her mother was killed.
Police are reviewing security cameras from Bradford's apartment complex.
