NFL Draft brings flag football tournament to Grant Park
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is the center of the football world the weekend of May 2nd, 2015. The city turned into "Draft Town," but it's not just the elite NFL athletes getting their gridiron glory.
Hundreds of flag football teams from across the country are competing in a tournament in Grant Park. Adults and children square off in 5 vs. 5 games during the NFL Flag Festival at the Draft with the top teams advancing in each division. Jason Erkes, president of the Chicago Sport and Social Club, visited the ABC 7 studios to talk about the event.
Draft town hours of operation:
Thursday, April 30: 4-10p.m
Friday, May 1: 4-10 p.m.
Saturday May 2: 10a.m. - 7 p.m.
