NFL Draft Town street closures overnight

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Crews transforming downtown Chicago into Draft Town USA will close a stretch of Michigan Avenue for work.

Southbound Michigan Avenue between Congress and Van Buren will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The same stretch will close its northbound lanes from 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The NFL draft will be in town from Thursday, April 30 to Saturday, May 2. The actual draft will be held at The Auditorium Theater at Roosevelt University, but grant Park and Congress Circle will be the site of a three-day fan festival.

There will be additional road closures.
