NORTH RIVERSIDE, Ill. (WLS) -- Drivers in west suburban North Riverside said a glitch with a red light camera is leading to wrongfully-issued tickets.

Drivers said they are being snapped by the camera at Harlem and Cermak after making a right hand turn off of Harlem. More than 150 people packed a courtroom Wednesday night to fight the tickets after they received notices to show up, all at the same time.

Some drivers were forced to wait several hours.

"They know that they are wrong. They really just need to throw the tickets out, you know. They call too many people at one time, either they should have about ten judges up there, you know, so they can get the people in and out, but they don't care about us," Denise Lewis, who was issued a red light ticket, said.

North Riverside officials have not returned a request for comment.
