Obama singing 'Amazing Grace' featured on new Coldplay album

WASHINGTON (WLS) -- President Barack Obama singing "Amazing Grace" will be heard on an interlude of Coldplay's new album.

The president sang the hymn at the funeral of a Charleston church shooting victim earlier this year.

Coldplay got special permission from the president to use his voice on their upcoming album "A Head Full of Dreams." It drops this Friday.

President Obama told Coldplay some time back that he's a big fan of the band.
