Palestinian author to discuss book at Evanston Library

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Evanston Library has changed its mind about having a Palestinian author discuss his book there.

Ali Abunimah will talk about his book, "The Battle for Justice in Palestine," next Monday.

"Neighbors for Peace," an Evanston-based justice and peace group has held several events at the public library.

Members of the group were dismayed to hear the reading was postponed and made sure their views were known.

Abunimah is an internationally known author based in Chicago.
