Ald. Patrick O'Connor targeted by Facebook scam

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An alderman on Chicago's Northwest Side is the latest victim of an online Facebook scam.

Someone created a fake Facebook page for Alderman Pat O'Connor in the 40th Ward. The person would then start friending people to scam them.

The page has been shut down. Alderman O'Connor says his office would never send friend requests on Facebook.
