CHICAGO (WLS) -- Many families think about adding a furry friend to their family over the holidays. But it may be worth it to re-think the timing.
During the holidays is a difficult time to adopt a pet since home lives are not in a routine. Dr. Tony Kremer from Kremer Veterinary Services stopped by our ABC 7 studio to share some things you should consider before adopting a pet during this time of year.
Some his suggestions include: thinking about the time and financial commitment, considering your personal and family lifestyle and choosing to adopt since millions of pets are in shelters across the country.
