A petition asking President Obama to grant clemency to former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has 75 signatures.

Organizers need 100,000 signatures to get a response from the White House.

Blagojevich is serving a 14 year prison sentence on corruption charges. Wednesday a judge refused to shorten that sentence, though several of the convictions were dropped.

According to the petition, Blagojevich is now a changed person and the sentence should be commuted to time served.
