CHICAGO (WLS) -- Imagine if you were walking down State Street in Chicago's Loop and looked up to see hundreds of bees buzzing around massive hive.
That's exactly what happened to some people walking along South State near West Adams Street on Monday.
An ABC7 Eyewitness News photographer estimated the hive to be about three feet long and as round as a football.
Crews from the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation were later called in to remove the hive.
