Polar bear triplets born at Netherlands wildlife park

RHENEN, Netherlands (WLS) -- A wildlife park in the Netherlands is celebrating the rare birth of polar bear triplets.

The proud mother, Freedom, gave birth on Saturday. Zookeepers at Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen are monitoring the family via closed circuit cameras.

They have not yet approached the polar bears because they do not want to risk upsetting the mother. So it's still not clear what gender the cubs are or how much they weigh.
