CHICAGO (WLS) -- A puppy that was stolen from a home in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood was found safe.

The 9-week-old pit bull named Yellow was rescued from an alleged dog-fighting ring and was being fostered by a volunteer when he was taken.

Rescue group "New Leash on Life" offered a $1,200 reward for information leading to Yellow's safe return.

The group later posted a photo of Yellow on its Facebook page, saying that he was located and back in the "puppy pile with his brothers and sisters."
