WATCH: Elephants smash mammoth pumpkins at Oregon Zoo

PORTLAND, Ore. (WLS) -- It's not just families getting to take part in the Halloween festivities at the Oregon Zoo.

The Oregon Zoo posted video on its Youtube page showing elephants pummeling mammoth pumpkins.

The zoo provided these thousand pound pumpkins for the elephants to stomp on, play with, and munch on.

Zoo officials say this also helps keep animals mentally and physically stimulated. Otters, giraffes, and bears got pumpkins to play with earlier this week.
