Watch: Swan stuck in ice in Brooklyn gets free, joins swan friend in flight

NEW YORK -- NewsCopter7 was over Shelfbank Creek in Brooklyn Wednesday, where residents had been making calls about a swan that was stuck on the ice for hours.

The scene played out off Gotham Avenue in the Gerritsen Beach section.

The swan could be seen struggling in the water before finally making its way atop the ice.

It then took off, and within seconds of flight, was joined in the air by a friend.
