The attendance figures at Tuesday night's White Sox game included 1,122 dogs, enough for the team to set a Guinness World Record.

In a press release, the team said they earned the world record for the most dogs at a sporting event.

The dogs sat in the stands during the game. Earlier there was a parade of pets around the ballpark.

The team decided to try to break the record as part of its annual "Bark at the Park" event.
