Police release surveillance videos of Costco jewelry robbery in Novato
Police released surveillance videos Monday that show three people stealing jewelry worth up to $50,000 from a Costco in Novato.

NOVATO, Calif. -- Police released surveillance videos Monday night that shows three people stealing jewelry worth up to $50,000 from a Costco in Novato.

At 10:11 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the Costco Wholesale store at 300 Vintage Way on a report of a burglary.

According to police, the three suspects entered the store wearing surgical masks, then used a hammer to break a glass display case and steal jewelry.

The suspects fled the store in a getaway vehicle before police arrived. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan similar to a Chevy Sonic, with paper dealer plates, police said.

According to police, no weapons were seen on the suspects and no one was injured during the crime. Police have not located the suspect vehicle, police said.
