SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Happy Hour drink specials are one signature away from becoming a reality in Illinois.

Both the State House and Senate passed a bill Sunday that would allow restaurants and bars to host Happy Hour.

Right now, only all-day specials are allowed. Happy Hour specials were banned by state lawmakers in 1989.

The bill includes a couple of restrictions: Happy Hour can't last more than four hours and no "two-for-one" deals are allowed.

The bill is now waiting on Gov. Bruce Rauner's signature in Springfield.
