President Barack Obama will focus on college students loads on Monday during a visit to Iowa.

He will announce changes to the federal college aid system.

The changes will allow aspiring college students to apply for financial aid in October instead of waiting until January.

White House officials said that will help students figure out whether they can afford to go to college.
