Back-to-school supplies doled out by Aurora police

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- The Police Union is helping kids get ready to head back to school the western suburbs Saturday.

Police in Aurora served lunch and handed out back-to-school kits and backpacks.

They wanted to make the event a one-stop-destination for about 3,000 kids who needed help getting their school supplies this year.
