Repurposing household items with Goodwill
CHICAGO -- Goodwill provides training, employment and supportive services for people with disabilities, or disadvantages, who seek greater independence.
Goodwill provides an outlet for communities to donate their items. You can even use items from Goodwill as materials for other projects.
On Tuesday, Val and Ryan learned how to re-purpose old jeans, picture frames and vinyl records!
Goodwill's retail operation collects and sells donated clothing and household goods. Revenue from the sale of these donated items help fund job training and other Goodwill mission programs and services.
There are 63 Goodwill Store and Donation Centers throughout southeastern Wisconsin and metropolitan Chicago.
