CHICAGO -- Two 10-year-old girls from west suburban Aurora have broken through gender stereotypes and taken the robotics world by storm.
Jensie Coonradt and Kaiya Hollister, known as the RoboGals, stopped by Windy City LIVE to explain how they became the National Robot Olympiad Champions. They also brought their robot along for a demonstration.
The RoboGals represented the U.S. in the World Robot Olympiad in Qatar and recently returned from a robotics competition in Beijing.
Their coach, William Wong, also shared the importance of the STEM based after school program, Chasewood Learning.
