Recorrido del Sol 5K raises scholarship funds

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Runners gathered in Grant Park's lower Hutchinson Field Sunday morning for the annual Recorrido del Sol 5K run/walk.

The event raises money for scholarships to help many college-bound Latino students from Illinois.

Pilsen Neighbors Community Council has partnered with the Illinois Dream Fund to raise funds for those college scholarships.
