Seniors benefit from even small amounts of exercise

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Even a small amount of exercise for adults over 60 can be beneficial.

The recommended amount of exercise is about two and a half hours of moderate activity per week. That would include things like walking or yoga.

But a new study shows even half that will help older adults live longer, have lower blood pressure and decreases the risk for diabetes.
