Ex-Orland Park teacher pleads guilty to sexually abusing girl

ORLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- A former teacher and coach in Orland Park has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 14-year old girl.

28-year old Jeffery Morowczynski was a substitute teacher for several years before getting a full-time job at High Point Elementary School last June.

He also coached the victim's basketball team. He resigned in September after the allegations first surfaced.

He was sentenced to 24 months probation.
