NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Shakyla Wilson, 22, has been charged with having inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl while volunteering as a girls basketball coach at Hill Middle School in suburban Naperville, police said.

Police say that Wilson and members of the team went to see the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" and had a sleepover at the home of one of the girls on Feb. 20, during which the alleged sexual contact occurred.

"To think that somebody would take advantage of a kid at that age, it's sad, it's really sad," said Cherie Dettmer, a former Hill parent.

"It's just disgusting, these are young kids, they're not 21-22 in college, it's unacceptable," said Mindy Brown, a resident.

School officials notified police about the allegations in late February and say they prohibited Wilson from being on school property after the incident was reported.

"We want to stress that the district takes these charges very seriously. As this is now a matter for law enforcement officials to handle, we encourage anyone who may have pertinent information regarding this investigation to contact the Naperville Police Department," District 204 officials said in a statement.

District 204 says that any parent or volunteer that comes in the school surrenders their driver's license for a screening, and at the high school level, they actually do finger printing. Specifics on the screening process within this particular case, however, have not been released. Wilson has no prior criminal history.

"It's pretty disturbing to hear that a volunteer is doing that, hopefully even people that volunteer at this school - they should probably do background checks on them," said Rabia Hussain, a parent.

Caitlin Stigler is a graduate of Hill.

"It's pretty shocking, I don't think that it's OK in any way, I'm surprised that it happened," Stigler said.

Bond has been set at $100,000 for Wilson, who faces one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Her next court appearance is scheduled for March 24.
