Stores warn of online Mother's Day coupon scam

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Stores are warning about bogus Mother's Day bargains made to look like deals from Bed Bath and Beyond and Lowes.

Some coupons circulating on Facebook are fakes. One from Bed Bad and Beyond promises $75 off.

The Home Goods retailer said it's working with Facebook to get the coupons removed from the site.

Lowes said coupons advertising $50 or $100 off a purchase are also scams.
