Quick Tip: Social security scam warning
Are you getting strange calls from people claiming to be from the Social Security Administration? Jason Knowles and the I-Team have the alert.

This is a social security scam much like those IRS calls, but with a new twist.

The Indiana attorney general's office said they are getting complaints from people who say they are getting robo-calls from people claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. They are leaving alarming messages and telling people that they have to call back right away and give personal information and if they don't, their social security number can be cancelled.

But your social security number can't be cancelled. If you get one of these calls, you should call the Social Security Administration or call the attorney general's office in your state.
