CHICAGO -- Every week, we ask our viewers to write in and nominate a local hero that is making a difference in the community... one in particular stood out. This week's 4-Star-Chicagoan, Paulette Franklin, founded the Chi-Town Cheerleaders 30 years ago and has been using cheerleading as a way to help young girls build confidence and stay active ever since.
This week's 4-Star-Chicagoan was brought to us by "Spider-Man: Homecoming". The movie highlights Peter Parker's new found identity as the web slinging superhero under the watchful eye of his new mentor. Spider-Man is proving to be much more than just a friendly neighbor, but a local hero.
Since Paulette is our local hero, she is being treated to an advanced red carpet movie screening of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" for her family, friends and entire cheer team! Paulette will also be given VIP treatment leading up to the event, including car service and a glam hair and makeup session!
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" hits theaters July 7.
