4 Star Chicagoan: Side by Side Smiles

This week's 4 Star Chicagoans have donated thousands of dollars to help families pay for cleft lip and palate surgeries - and they're only 16 years old.

Side by Side Smiles founders Nandini Arakoni and Sanjana Gangadharan were inspired to take up the cause because Nandini was born with a cleft lip and had corrective surgery at two months old. To raise money, they make and sell jewelry.

Side by Side smiles donates to the international organization Smile Train.
