Access Living gala honors Valerie Jarrett

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Valerie Jarrett was honored for helping to break barriers by the group Access Living.

Access Living presented former Jarrett, a former White House staffer, with its Lead On Award.

The award recognizes people who support the independence of people with disabilities.
