CHICAGO -- Ariana Burks, 16, who lives in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood, recently had the opportunity of a lifetime to sing with one of her favorite stars, Idina Menzel.

In August, Menzel performed at Pritzker Pavilion and invited select audience members to sing with her on stage. Ariana ran to the front of the audience and was selected by the Broadway superstar to join her on the stage.

When Ariana let out her first note, the crowd went wild. Her powerful voice is one that we'll be hearing for a long time to come.

Check out her live performance of "One Night" from the musical, "The Black and White Ball," created by Stephen Cole and Todd Ellison.
