Chicago's first LGBT-friendly senior housing opens in Lakeview

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Heartland Housing and city leaders celebrated the opening of what they are calling Chicago's first affordable LGBT-friendly housing for seniors.
It is located at the former town hall police station in Lakeview.
The building for low-income seniors has 79 units.
