Girl invites physics partner to dance in touching princess 'prom-posal'

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. -- There's no shortage of clever prom-posals happening at this very moment. But there's one that's warming hearts and restoring faith in humanity across social media.

Madi Stofflet picked a pretty special date for her senior prom.

She and her now confirmed and elated prom date, Amanda, are both students at Daniel Boone High School in Birdsboro, Berks County.

When Madi found out her boyfriend couldn't make it to prom, she asked one of her favorite physics partners.

Madi says Amanda is a ton of fun and LOVES the color pink - thus, the tiaras.

Amanda's dad says this is her first prom and she already has a dress picked out.

And as for Madi, she tells Action News that she didn't expect this video to explode.

She says she's merely taking her best friend. She doesn't think there's anything special about that.
