Last-minute marathon tips
Thousands of runners will be racing through Chicago on Sunday.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of runners will be racing through Chicago on October 9, 2016 for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Now in its 39th year, runners will represent more than 100 countries and all 50 states. The race winds through 29 of Chicago's neighborhoods, with an estimated 1.7 million people lining the streets to cheer. The 2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, a member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, will start and finish in Grant Park beginning at 7:30a.m. 3-Time Olympian, and record holder for American Women in the Marathon, Deena Kastor, visited ABC 7's State Street Studios to talk about the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and to give some last minute tips for runners getting ready for the race.
