CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation needs help to honor their fallen brothers in blue. Their goal: $250,000 to build a Memorial Park.

You can make your donations here. The park will help remember the sacrifices of the men and women who have died in the line of duty. The Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation is a completely volunteer organization; 100 percent of your donation goes directly to the construction of the Memorial Park.

Executive Director of the Illinois State Memorial Park, Jack Garcia, visited ABC 7 Eyewitness News to talk about the need to build the park.
