CHICAGO (WLS) -- To many people, Englewood is one of Chicago's most troubled neighborhoods. But to thousands, it's home. It's where they work, live and have roots.

They're well aware of their neighborhood's image and some are working hard to change it.

They're fighting to bring economic development and jobs to the community, while helping families find employment and build wealth.

Talking about those efforts are Glen Fulton, executive director of the Greater Englewood Community Development Corporation and Ivan Ramos with the Metropolitan Family Center.
