Payton Foundation gives retirement home new look

NORTHLAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- A home for veterans has a new look Tuesday night, thanks to the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation.

The Concord Place Retirement Home in northwest suburban Northlake has a floor set aside for the 58 veterans who live there.

Connie Payton toured the home and met with some of the veterans.

Volunteers installed new flooring and furniture and did some landscaping outside.

Home Depot donated the materials for the project.
