CHICAGO (WLS) -- An annual event celebrating Polish heritage is set to take place again in Chicago.
The 124th Polish Constitution Day Parade will march through downtown on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 beginning at 11:30am. This year's parade will feature a new route along Dearborn Street, from Lake Street to Van Buren Street. The parade celebrates the first democratic constitution in Europe signed in 1791. This year's parade Grand Marshal will be Duke University basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, whose team recently won the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship. Mary Anselmo talked with us live on ABC 7 about the changes to this year's parade and what's in store for the thousands of people expected to attend.
