Thousands pack meals for needy children in Naperville

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Five thousand volunteers are packing meals for needy children across the world this weekend.

They gathered at North Central College in Naperville for the fifth annual Feed My Starving Children event.

The non-profit group Feed the Need has a goal this weekend of packing a million meals. They will be sent to orphanages, clinics, and schools in 70 countries.
