Man charged in fatal South Shore stabbing

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police have made an arrest in a deadly South Shore stabbing.

Brandon Young is now in custody and charged with first degree murder, police said.

Investigators say he stabbed a 43-year-old man just after midnight Saturday in the 7800-block of South Shore Drive. The victim was hospitalized but later pronounced dead.

Young is expected to appear in court Sunday.
