7-year-old Hawks fan is a hockey prediction wizard
Kabir Joshi's hockey predictions have been spot on and he's hoping to pick a winner for Monday night.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Fans come in all shape and sizes. Kabir Joshi is on the smaller side but he sure knows how to pick 'em.

Joshi doesn't have a crystal ball, but his hockey predictions are spot on and he's picked a winner for Monday night.

Kabir Joshi is a hockey man. When we first met him two years ago, his game knowledge knocked our socks off. He remains wise beyond his seven years. What happened, Kabir, on that first Hawk goal Saturday night?

"Miscommunication," he says. "So Sharp was like, 'Thank you. Now I'll go and score.'"

Defensemen know about these things. They also know what wins, and what the Hawks have been doing well of late.

"Starting the game off real well," Joshi says. "Moving through the neutral zone, forechecking and Mr. Crawford making all the saves."

Two years ago Kabir picked the Hawks over the Bruins in six. Two weeks ago, he picked the Hawks over the Lightning in six. By his prediction, tonight is the night.

These are Kabir's keys to the game: "Stick to the game plan. Start off strong. Defend long passes, and score from the big two lines."

He longs to hobnob again with Blackhawks icons. But is he nervous for the game tonight?

"Actually sometimes I do get nervous, but most times no," he says.

So just for the record Kabir is predicting a Hawks 4-1 win and a Cup on display tonight.
