Bears hire Adam Gase as new offensive coordinator

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday that they have hired Adam Gase as their new offensive coordinator.

Gase was on the coaching staff of the Denver Broncos for the last six years, during which time the Broncos have led the NFL in scoring offense, total offense and passing offense. He was the offensive coordinator for the Broncos for the last two years.

Gase worked with new Bears head coach John Fox for the last four years.
